Video: Cleaning a DE Filter (The Sta-Rite Modular DE)

I have yet to see a video on YouTube about cleaning the Sta-Rite Modular Diatomaceous Earth DE Filter so I decided to make one myself.
I love this filter. It is so easy to clean and it filters better than a paper cartridge filter.

This filter is a dramatic improvement from the traditional DE filters with vertical or curved grids. In fact, some people confuse this filter with a paper cartridge filter and make the expensive mistake of not recharging the filter with new diatomaceous earth. If you run this filter (or any DE filter) without DE in it you will ruin this element !
