Subject: SMUD Pool Pump Rebate Program ends June 1

After years of successful partnership, SMUD has made the difficult decision to permanently end its successful Pool Pump Rebate Program on June 1 of this year. The program is ending earlier than anticipated due to budget constraints brought on by the global COVID-19 crisis.

Customers who purchase a qualifying variable-speed pool pump by May 31, 2020 will still be able to apply for a $250 SMUD rebate. Rebate applications must be received within 180 days from the date of purchase.

As an essential service provider, SMUD’s resources must be focused on delivering reliable and uninterrupted power and helping to keep customers safe. We appreciate your understanding during these difficult and uncertain times.
