Polaris PB4sq booster pump leak

I’ve seen three Polaris PB4sq booster pumps in the last year with cracks in the housing that cause the pump to leak. They are all in the same spot.

Polaris is an excellent company. Either they have an ongoing issue with their housing molds or it was just a bad run of product. Let’s hope this gets straightened out quickly!

If you have this Polaris pump, I would NOT repair it or replace it with the same pump. I recommend replacing it with a Pentair booster pump.
