SMUD pool pump rebate increases to $150 for remainder of 2015

Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) has raised the bar – again.
Effective August 10, 2015 and for the remainder of 2015, SMUD will rebate its customers/homeowners $150 towards the cost of upgrading their pool’s filter pump to an energy efficient variable speed pump (VSP) when the VSP is installed by a CAEI (Certified Aquatic Equipment Installer) trained technician (Mike the Poolman!)

SMUD’s Paula Robertson thanks all pool industry contractors participating in its rebate program for making it a huge energy saving success. She suggests that this additional rebate incentive should make it a little more enticing for SMUD customers to consider upgrading to energy efficient variable speed filter pumps.
